Giving Thanks
In gratitude for our SAS community, the PTA is excited to sponsor a school-wide Thanksgiving lunch. The Thanksgiving feast – featuring a traditional Thanksgiving meal plus
vegan, gluten-friendly, and Halal options – will be served on the following days:
Early Learning Center
Kindergarten
Grades 1, 2 & 3
Grades 4 & 5
All Middle School
All
High School
Monday, November 21
Early Learning Center, Kindergarten and Grades 1, 2 & 3
Teachers, Instructional Assistants (IAs) and Students will eat together as a classroom community. Bento boxes for everyone who has placed an order will be collected and delivered to the classrooms by the class IAs.
Those who do not wish to order are kindly reminded to bring a packed lunch from home. Thanksgiving meals are brought to you by Hoe Brothers and Sodexo Food Services, our two on-site dining partners.
Tuesday, November 22
Grades 4 & 5 and all Middle School
Grades 4 & 5 Students, Teachers & IAs will have their Thanksgiving Meal in their classrooms. Bento boxes for everyone who has placed an order will be collected and delivered to the classrooms by the class IAs.

4th & 5th Grade ES Order Here
MS students will be served over the counter and eat together in the cafeteria.
Hoe Brothers offers a Classic Thanksgiving Plate, a Vegan Schnitzel Menu, and a Gluten-Friendly Menu. Halal diners will have a choice of three menus offered by Sodexo - Classic Thanksgiving, Vegan and Gluten Friendly.
Parents - no need to help! Students should place their own orders using their school email address. They can order at anytime - we suggest during Advisory.
Wednesday, November 23
all High School
All High School students will be served over the counter in the cafeteria.
Sodexo is offering a choice of three menus:
- Classic Thanksgiving
- Vegan Mock Duck with Rice Stuffing
- Gluten-Friendly Classic Thanksgiving
All menus offered by Sodexo are Halal Certified. Parents - no need to help! Students are accountable for their own orders, using this form. Students can order at any time or can order in Advisory.
